CSC 539: Operating Systems Structure and Design
Spring 2006

HW6: Class Presentation

In the last week of the semester, you will be expected to present a 20 minute lecture on a commercial operating system that has not been covered in class. Working in a team of two people, you will research that operating system and present an overview of its features and capabilities. Special attention should be paid to the three main responsibilities: process management, memory management, and file management.

The presentation will be graded both on content (75%) and the quality of the presentation (25%). You should utilize some form of online presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint) so that your presentation can be made available for all students in the class to review.
